Here it officially is, the first Account Planning School of the Web of the second quarter of the 21st millennium. (Is that right?)
This is deliberately constrained to respect your time and mine, so it's a wee bit artificial. But go with it. I think it'll be fun.
The scenario:
You have been retained by MooCo, the new organisation responsible for selling milk (from cows) to UK customers. They have booked a huge 60-second TV campaign and a world-class creative team to produce the ad. (They are pretty old school.)
Your job is to come up with the challenge/idea/message/whatever that will form the basis of the creative brief and MooCo's board (informally known as the Cheese Board) would like you to share it with them first. They've been very directional with the format for that; a three-slide presentation that you email to them. You won't get to present it.
That's it. Otherwise you can do what you like.
If you'd like to take part then email your slides (in whatever format you like) to mooco@russelldavies.com by noon (UK time) on January 31st. I'll provide feedback on here and on my LinkedIn. If you want to remain anonymous please let me know and I won't share your name when I do the feedback. (And I'll try and round up a proper experienced planner/strategist to do feedback too.)
