I think I have an idea for a book

I think I've had an idea for a book I might want to write.

I had rather assumed that my book days were over. They're a lot of work for not much reward, but this possibility has got its hooks in me.

Though I'm not even really sure that when I say 'book' that I actually mean 'book. Do I mean a paper and cardboard thing that takes forever and no-one reads? Do I want to disappoint another publisher with my failure to solicit blurbs and be good at social media, despite seeming like I might know people and be good at social media?

Not sure.

So I'm going to start off by sharing the workings/thinkings of the thing on a newsletter. Once a month. A tale of how it's going. Some drafts. My notes. All the bits and bobs I seem to collect while I'm working this stuff out. (Currently including this).

And I'm going to charge money for that because that's probably how 'books' work these days.

The kids would call it a substack but it won't actually be on substack because nazis.

As a clue it's called 10 1/2 cafes and you can sign up, and read more, there.
